NAR
The National Association of Rocketry
NAR supports all aspects of sport rocketry, from small model rockets to very large high-power rockets. NAR is also recognized as a national authority for testing and certification of consumer rocket motors. NAR safety codes are recognized and accepted by manufacturers and public safety officials nationwide.
TBRA is chartered as Section 934 of the National Association of Rocketry. NAR is a non-profit organization dedicated to safety, education, and the advancement of technology of amateur rocketry in the United States. NAR was founded in 1957, with over 5,100 members and 125 sections across the U.S., it is the oldest and largest amateur rocketry organization in the world.
NAR provides insurance for organized launch events and administers a member certification program for high-power rockets. NAR also organizes national rocketry events such as the National Sport Launch East, National Sport Launch West, as well as NARAM National Association of Rocketry Annual Meet).
