ABOUT US
The Tampa Bay Rocketry Association (TBRA) was originally founded as the Tripoli Tampa Rocketry Association, Tripoli Prefecture 17.
In December 2022 we were also chartered as Section 934 of the National Association of Rocketry.
In January 2023, we changed the club name to the Tampa Bay Rocketry Association in order to better serve our members of both national associations.
Our mission has remained the promotion and safe pursuit of hobby and high power rocketry. All launch activities are conducted under the safety rules of the Tripoli Rocketry Association and the National Association of Rocketry.
TBRA helps to educate rocketry hobbyists of all ages and levels of experience. We provide a safe, friendly, and encouraging environment where children and adults can learn and practice the proper design, construction, skills, rules, and procedures necessary to excel in low, mid, or high power rocketry.
We also support other youth activities through education. TBRA will present static displays and hands-on demonstrations for schools and other youth groups.
